Programs & Fees

The school year is structured with a series of different themes which are complemented by activities. Crafts, songs, stories, trips and visitors are designed to heighten the child's awareness of him/herself, the family and the community.

CREATIVE PLAY
By painting, cutting and pasting, playing with puzzles, games and blocks, the children explore their artistic creativity and development fine motor skills.

ACTIVE PLAY
Riding Toys, the climber, drama centre, sand and water table, and outdoor play enhance the development of gross motor skills and co-operation

CIRCLE TIME
Stories and discussions, singing and dancing are geared to current themes. Children learn to express themselves and formulate ideas with their classmates.

SNACK TIME
Parents send nutritious snacks and drink to be eaten mid-session. Children are provided with an opportunity to practice manners and personal hygiene.

JK CLUB
Through songs and activties, the children learn the days of the week, the months, alphabet and numbers .
Daily activities include

    phonics
    letter recognition (upper and lower case)
    printing (children learn to recognise, spell and write their own name)
    sorting (colour, size, partterns)
    shapes
    basic math skills

Games include matching, sequencing, letter or word recognition, picture and sound recognition.
Basic concepts such as opposites are explored, and advanced concepts such as relationships (longer than,/shorter than, more/less, colder/warmer, thinner/thicker) are introduced.
The children continue to learn through music (singing and simple rhythm instruments), exercise and dance.
Working as a group the children learn how to co-operate and take turns, improve social skills, reasoning and manners.

2 days per week: $140/month
3 days per week: $195/month
 
Play Today Drop In Program
2.5 Hours: 9:00 am - 11:30 am $16 per day
5 Hours: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm $30 per day (lunch included)
